Rae Begley

Little Hero, Founder

Putting the ‘Rae’ in ray-gun, Rae Begley is your Little Hero, the driving force behind the mighty PR & Marketing agency of the same name with a local– scratch global - outlook.

Rae cemented her career in PR in London in 2004 where she worked for Antipodium as the PR Manager for the then cult agency who managed wholesale, PR and a shop based in Soho, known for introducing Australian and New Zealand designers into the UK and European markets.  The collective has since dissolved the agency and evolved into the fashion label Antipodium but at the time they focussed on PR and sales for designers including Zimmermann, Nicola Finetti , Metalicus and Zambesi.  During her time in London, Rae also worked for Bryan Morel PR on accounts including Oliver Peoples, Mexx and John Rocha as well as for Super Super magazine which was aligned with London Fashion Week and  showcased the underbelly of London fashion and music culture. Returning to her home town of Melbourne, Rae set up Little Hero in 2007 after cutting her teeth at Sydney based agency The Arc Factory across more commercial accounts including Esprit, Holeproof, Oakley and Myer. Little Hero found it's home in Sydney on new years day in 2008 and is now based in a sun filled showroom in Alexandria.

Little Hero has made a distinctive mark on the Australian fashion industry since 2007 and works to concrete businesses locally in the market with a global view for each client. With a sworn allegiance to creatively represent her clients, Rae has hooked on the Little Hero utility belt a cluster of innovative designers both gargantuan and boutique; a ‘curated’ stable of designers that each has a unique signature with global appeal. Little Hero is the transformative organisation and they conduct services in the beautiful mix between art and commerce that is not limited just by pure 'PR'. Rae has no formal training in PR, Marketing or Fashion yet brings her Media Arts degree and life experience into play through a creative viewpoint, the strength of ideas, image making and storytelling for her clients.

The Little Hero client list includes a roll call of established and emerging local and international brands:  adidas Originals, Alice McCall, Carl Kapp, Romance Was Born, Therese Rawsthorne, Seventh Wonderland, Shakuhachi, Flannel, Colab Eyewear and Rusty, as well as internationally renowned Swedish brand Cheap Monday and New Zealand brands Stolen Girlfriends Club and Kate Sylvester.

While Wonder Woman has her “lasso of truth” to help get the job done, Little Hero has a super-sonic vision concerning her clients’ present and future.
